I obtained this recipe through a Sweet Pea sub-group, and I wanted to give it a try. It's a recipe for egg-less teething biscuits, and it's only made with 3 ingredients. Here's the recipe:
Eggless Teethers
- 1 Cup Instant Baby Cereal
- 1 Cup Flour (White, Wheat, or a combination)
- 1 Cup Fruit Juice
Preheat Oven 350Combine and stir ingredients - if you have time, chill dough in the refrigerator. Roll out between sheets of lightly floured wax paper to about 1/2-inch thickness. Cut into round shapes using the top of a juice glass or a round cookie cutter. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet or one covered with parchment paper. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes (or more) until hard.
Cael LOVED them. It only took him a few minutes to realize he can suck on them. I used Gerber Pear Juice in this batch. They're really durable too. They weren't rock- hard, but instead like a rubbery, flexible cookie. But they didn't break apart, either. Actually, after Cael was nomming on it for 20 minutes or so, it was still intact. Just...sticky. This recipe yielded 12 cookies/biscuits.
